Should I clean or deactivate the DPF?
- First, let's describe how the cleaning process works:
- The diesel particle filter is being cleaned using chemicals and pressurized water. This removes the soot content from the DPF, but there's a catch - to clean the filter it cannot be damaged. Clogged diesel particulate filter can get to temperatures so high that it either cracks or even melts the ceramic core, which makes the filter ineligible for repair - removal is the only option.
- Another downside is that cleaning the filter does not return it to its factory condition. A cleaned filter is much more susceptible to clogs than a new unit, that's why removing the entire system is a better solution.
- Our DPF emulator is not an ECU reflash, so the engine control unit is not in danger, thanks to the "Plug and Play" wiring it can be reverted back to stock within few minutes; and most importantly - the repair of diesel particle filter through its deactivation is a long-term solution which lets you forget about exhaust aftertreatment system problems.
- Our system covers all detectors, including: differential pressure sensors, temperature sensors, NOx sensors etc.

How does the emulator work?
- The emulator emits the same signals as a fully functioning DPF and SCR(DEF) systems - this ensures that the machine does not signal exhaust system failure.
Should I remove the DPF after installing the emulator?
- Yes, once the emulator is installed it is required to remove the diesel particulate filter from the exhaust system within 20 working hours.
How does the operation look like?
- Installation is simple and should take less than 2 hours, even if you have no experience. However, if needed, our remote service will guide you through the entire process.
- All of our solutions are compatible with the original connectors, so there is no need to interfere with the wiring.
